Ryan founded The Brighter Group at just 20 years old, driven by a clear-eyed understanding of the cleaning industry’s shortcomings and a desire to do better. Since then, he has built the company into a respected and fast-growing cleaning service provider by proving that consistent service quality and staff loyalty go hand in hand. Ryan is involved in all aspects of day-to-day operations, personally overseeing workforce development, quality assurance, and client engagement across sites. A passionate advocate for direct employment and ethical standards, he leads with both conviction and care — always seeking practical solutions that improve lives while elevating industry standards.

With over two decades of experience across hands-on cleaning supervision and national-scale asset management delivery, Gary brings a unique blend of operational insight and innovative thinking. He was a key leader across national and international asset management providers, including Spotless (now Downer), BGIS, and as Business Transformation Manager at Vivid Property Services. His experience spans facilities management and accommodation delivery in Defence, Justice, Education, and private sectors.
